Gifted and talented programs

Inclusion and differentiation approach
The centre works with visiting groups to plan and implement differentiation strategies for every program. Template for planning.
Students with special needs e.g. ASD, can worry about things prior to camp. The use of this
Centre staff respond to diversity and inclusion needs every day. They are skilled at working with visitors who:
- are physically impaired e.g. mobility, visual, hearing
- have ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Introducing staff.
- Osteogenesis Imperfecta (fragile bones that break easily)
- are epileptic
- have Down Syndrome
- cerebral palsy
- allergic reactions
- bring a personal carer
- require special diets.

This beach wheel chair belongs to the Emu Park Lions club and is on loan to the Centre or other community groups.
Access ramp to the dining building.
An accommodation cabin with ramp and disabled shower and toilet.
Our side by side vehicle is used to transport students and adults with mobility issues around sites on the island.
The boat ramp is wheel chair accessible.
