Students use spotlights when exploring shallow water in the bay. This is a wonderful opportunity to see a range of night creatures on land and in the clear water. In the past students have seen turtles, squid, fish, shell fish, possums, owls and ghost crabs.
Year 5/6 example: Will we observe marine/aquatic life at night that aren't normally seen during the day?
