Water is a precious resource. Australia is one of the driest continents in the world and is becoming drier each year. All of the water used at Konomie Island is rainwater. During their stay at the island, students monitor and record the amount of water used by individual cabins or the whole centre. Students devise ways of using less water and are encouraged to use these strategies back at school and home.
